Introducing Space Channel 5 VR
Woah, that’s great!
However, I have to take this info with precaution. Lately, Musk hasn’t been keeping his words and acting a tad strange. But I’ still awaiting more news and hoping this will work out.
Welp, so that’s a girly girl inside me that’s more into the whole sleek, bright designs rather than this 😉
But I could ignore the design, while price + wireless combo wins.
I mean, most people already have a phone that is VR capable with certain equipment… The fact they don’t use this feature is for another discussion 😛
Huh, a very fun and simple example. It seems much clearer now, thanks!
Weather forecast only for VR users, that would be something, wouldn’t it?
Thanks, a very useful link, both for newbies and more experienced VR users. Now I can easily explain some of the terms to my friends!
Ah, yes, I’ve been wondering why is that. Is it just the design of Pimax 8k? Or are there any particular characteristic, that are unavailable in other headsets that make it so big?
Makes me feel as if I’m in a star wars movie while I’m playing
I know, right? The plot mission when you are playing as Luke got me like… I’M A JEDI NOW
Boy, I don’t think I have ever enjoyed anything more than those few first seconds.
Exercise is great, but doesn’t it require a lot of space? It probably isn’t too comfortable to play VR in a small living room, constantly worrying if you are gonna hit that coffee table or not… 😛 How do you manage with small spaces guys?
Yeah, Lenovo Mirage Solo looks even kinda cute, reminding you of a robot when you look at it. I must admit I like this design even better than Oculus Go i mentioned!
Yes, but at the same time, the VR equipment is also being enhanced. The technology is still evolving, so I can’t imagine using the same headset after a few years, it’s gonna get outdated and new games won’t be compatible (that’s what I would do as a producer 😛 ). So I think the market is going to force us to buy new headsets every few years…
So we can say the AR is literally the background?
Hey, but you already own a smartphone! At least most people do, lol. And you can use the smartphone for other things, like, well, phoning people? 😛
I think the whole experience is great and totally futuristic. I really enjoy trying out the equipment on various conventions etc. I’m about to buy my first headset, I just wish it was a bit less expensive 😛
I also wish it was a tad more popular honestly, it would be way cooler if more people got interested in it. It’s always great to share interests with people, the more the better.
Wireless VR technology is a gigantic advantage, but I think more people are gonna buy the Oculus Quest, right?
Also, am I the only that feels the VIVE design is a bit odd?
Same! Harry Potter has a lot of potential for VR /MR/AR and generally open world games. I think even just some VR tours of Hogwarts or other places from the movies would be great! People love Harry Potter and even those not interested in VR would probably want to at least try it out. It would be a great tool for making the whole technology more popular.
