Introducing Space Channel 5 VR
I agree. Looks pretty awesome but we have to wait and see how practical they’re gonna be.
For me, it’s 3D printed wall mounts for the Rift sensor, and also the controllers. Especially for the sensor, it’s an easy way to place it in a perfect, precise location
Simply there’s much more potential for gaming in VR than there is in AR, almost every single game is playable in VR, and with AR that is certainly not the case. I guess it’s just the nature of the technology…
My headset becomes warm when I’m using it for too long, but it never became so hot it would burn my head.
Same here, but I’ve only used it for like an hour, an hour and 10 minutes at a time max, after that I get dizzy and need to take a break…
You are welcome 🙂
The most effective way to prevent tangling your feet with the cables is to clip the cables to yourself, more specifically to a belt using a belt clip or something similar. Easy and cheap but very effective 🙂
I just started playing the newest God of War a few days ago, I’ve played the ones before it but haven’t gotten my hands on this one yet. I have to say it’s one of the most complete games I’ve ever played. Amazing storyline, amazing graphics, amazing gameplay
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. This is pretty much a game close to perfection.
Quoting a review I once read on Steam, “The only bad thing about this game is the emptiness you feel after finishing it.”. This is as precise as it can get 🙂
Yeah, fortunately I got plenty of space in my living room to use my VR properly, I can’t imagine doing it in a tight space :/ Would influence the whole experience a lot at least for me
Yeah that’s actually one big benefit that rarely anyone talks about… Depending on the game played you can actually get some good exercise in unlike playing on like pc, ps4 and everything else 🙂
An independent headset seems like a way more practical option to me as well. And yeah not everyone is using their smartphone to the limits… some only use it for calls, Facebook, Instagram etc. so the whole buying a new smartphone just for the sake of a VR headset seems very impractical to me
The only thing I’m sure about if an Apple VR Headset comes out, it’s about the price. It’s gonna be way over the top compared to the rest that’s for sure.
And about the quality, we would have to wait and find out if it’s gonna follow the price or not
1. I Expect You To Die
2. Beat Saber
3. Echo Arena
Yes, Echo Arena and also The Sparc, you can play it 1v1, where you try to hit your opponent on the backboard and also vice versa defend yours.
Another one is The Climb (kind of sports category) where you rockclimb mountains which is actually pretty fun, and I’m also not sure if it has multiplayer
My favorite is definitely World of Warcraft by miles. I feel like every other MMORPG is just a poor copy of WoW. Although I really enjoyed playing Guild Wars and Guild Wars 2 as well.
And talking of MMO’s… I would love to see how World of Warcraft is in VR, I mean I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t be able to play it correctly on VR but it would still be cool to explore the world 😀
